severely corrosive conditions.Grade 316 also has outstanding welding
characteristics. Post-weld annealing is not required when welding thin
sections.316 Stainless Steel has a better resistance to pitting corrosion and
stress corrosion cracking in chloride solutions to that of other non molybdenum
bearing stainless steel grades.
